Big bore 4-1/2" (4.695" spigot bore) crankcase version of the standard MK-Series crankcase S&S 701028. Prepared for even bigger bores to fit truly massive cylinders.
All that big-bore power requires a quality and strength beyond what stock crankcases can withstand. This is where the S&S Softail M8 big-bore crankcases come into play. Designed to allow extra-large bores, with a machined oil scraper to reduce oil drag on the flywheels. They offer improved reliability, whilst fitting in a stock chassis.
