The starting system on 1965-1988 4-speed models, with separate starter solenoid, is not known for its reliability — quite the opposite. But that is over with this manual system that will always work. Mounts in place of the original solenoid. From now on, just get on your bike, pull the lever, and you're off. For FL/FX 1965-1984, FXWG and FXST 1980-1988. The starter relay must be ordered separately.
