OptiMate solar 12V monitor and charge system

The intelligent solution for 24/7 battery care, powered by the sun. Includes a weather-resistant 10V solar panel and the OptiMate Solar smart charger/monitor controller, which charges and maintains a 12V battery during the day and monitors and displays the battery charge status at night. Broad-spectrum polycrystalline solar panel technology generates power even in low-light conditions. The OptiMate controller converts to more effective high-current pulses to charge and maintain standard, gel, AGM or EFB 12V batteries. At night, the smart controller becomes a battery monitor, providing battery information every 3 seconds on the 3-LED display. Flat batteries from as low as 1V with its unique pulse action. The fastest charging is delivered when the "smart charge" control selects pulse or continuous charging according to sunlight intensity. Smart maintenance continues the next day if the battery retains its charge overnight; otherwise, the programme reverts to the OPTIMISE step. Battery status is displayed every 3 seconds. Indicator suitable for high-performance STM and AGM batteries. Draws less than 0.5mA in monitor mode. Automatically switches to CHARGE when solar power is sufficient. The OptiMate charge/monitor controller is separate from the solar panel and can be placed close to the vehicle or battery so that charging and maintenance progress can be easily monitored. The solar panel must be mounted and angled to receive direct sunlight. The range/distance between the battery and panel is 124". External dimensions, including corner mounting brackets, are: width 11 1/2", height 12 3/4", depth 1".
