Used inside the lower fork slider to guide the fork tube. The SKF composite bushes are copper-plated stainless steel, with an inner PTFE-based coating that helps reduce fork friction and stiction better than other materials. To improve heat dissipation during operation, a thin layer of bronze forms a robust bond between the base and the sliding surface. The extremely smooth sliding surface provides supple suspension and does an excellent job of reducing friction and wear.
