This JIMS lifter test and pump-up tool allows you to test hydraulic lifters before assembling the valve train. Using pressurised oil, this unique tool allows you to fill the lifters with oil while "feeling" the fit of the hydraulic unit. You can easily diagnose loose or "spongy" lifters that could eventually cause bleed-down problems, or "sticky" taps that will not pump up due to a poor fit of the hydraulic unit. Whether you simply change cams from time to time, or are an experienced engine builder, this tool will let you complete the final assembly of your cam chest and valve train with the confidence of knowing your lifters are pumped up, pass the test and are ready for action. Twin Cam 1999-2017 and Milwaukee Eight from 2017. An adaptor sleeve for use with the JIMS lifter test tool on Evo Big Twin 1984-1999 and Evo Sportster 1986-1990 is available separately.
