It bolts on like the original and accepts the original fuel pump. The tank has no space for the fuel level sender or the instrument panel. It has a capacity of 18.9 litres (5 gallons) and measures 61cm (24") long, 38cm (15") wide and 20cm (8") high. Carefully check the fit of the tank on the motorcycle and check the fuel line connection, fuel pump and petrol cap before painting. Do not grind or sand the joints. A pressure test and the use of a tank cleaner, conditioner and sealer are also recommended to prevent leaks and prevent corrosion.
