These Tolle aluminium triple trees are available in 3° and 7° rake versions. To ensure a comfortable ride and easy handling of your motorcycle, be sure to choose the correct combination of rake and fork tube length for the right ride; if in doubt, consult your Zodiac dealer. The correct travel is 5cm to 10cm (2" to 4") for rigid frames and 8cm to 15cm (3 1/4" to 6") for swingarm frames. The upper tree of the Fat Bob Custom Style triple trees has open slots, which increases pressure on the tubes instead of the tube cups. This significantly increases stability, particularly with long forks. The lower trees have open slots at the rear to properly secure the tubes. OEM or other triple trees do not have this feature. The triple trees are 250mm wide and will accept 1 5/8" (41,27mm) fork tubes, but will also accommodate 35mm and 39mm fork tubes when suitable adapter bushes and upper fork tube plugs are used. Steering stops, adapter bushes, as well as other tree-related parts are available separately.
Note: Tolle does not recommend using these fork dropouts on FL models with more than 12" of fork length (40" or 1015mm measured from the bottom of the upper fork tube to the centre of the wheel axle) and a trail not exceeding 5 1/8" (130mm).
