Wera ratchet spanner, open/box end 14mm Joker - Metric

The Joker has a non-angled 12-point beak, so it requires only 30° of working space; otherwise, it works like a conventional open-end spanner. The dark metal plate serves a dual function: it acts as a retainer, preventing the nut from sliding off the spanner beak or holding it in place. At a further 30°, the retaining metal plate allows the nut to slide or be gripped, as the metal plate is fitted with a hardened serrated edge. The teeth on this edge will 'bite' into a rounded nut, loosening it where other spanners simply slip.

Comes with a very fine 80-tooth ratchet for a small 4.5° return angle. The ratchet direction is indicated on both sides.
