Wera 17mm Joker open/ring spanner - Metric

With an open end on one end and a ratcheting end on the other. Identical sizes on both ends. Colour coded by size. When everything fails, it's time to play your Joker.
- Open end.
The Joker has a non-angled 12-point head, so it requires only 30° of working space; otherwise it works like a conventional open-end spanner. The dark metal plate acts as a retainer, preventing the nut from sliding off the spanner head or holding it in place. At an additional 30°, the metal plate allows the nut to slide off or grip it, as the plate is fitted with a hardened serrated edge. The teeth on this edge will 'dig into' a rounded nut, loosening it where other spanners simply slip.
- Closed end.
Comes with a very fine 80-tooth ratchet for a 4.5° return angle. The ratchet direction is indicated on both sides.
