Wera 18mm open/box end ratchet spanner - Metric

With an open end on one end and a ratcheting end on the other. Identical sizes on both ends. Colour coded by size. When everything fails, it's time to play your Joker.
- Open end.
The Joker has a 12-point non-angled spike, so it requires only 30° of working space; otherwise it works like a conventional open-end spanner. The dark metal plate acts as a retainer, preventing the nut from sliding off the spanner spike or holding it in place. At 30° more, the retaining metal plate allows the nut to slide or grip it, as the metal plate is fitted with a hardened serrated edge. The teeth of this edge 'bite' into a rounded nut, loosening it where others simply slip.
- Closed end.
Comes with a very fine 80-tooth ratchet for a small 4.5° return angle. The ratchet direction is indicated on both sides.
