Wera 3/8" Joker open-ended/box ratchet spanner - US sizes

The Joker features a 12-point non-angled head, so it requires only 30° of working space; otherwise, it works like a conventional open-end spanner. The dark metal plate serves a dual function: it acts as a retainer, preventing the nut from sliding off the spanner head, or grips it. At an additional 30°, the retaining metal plate lets the nut slide or grips it, as the plate is fitted with a hardened serrated edge. The teeth on this edge 'bite' into rounded nuts, loosening them where other spanners simply slip.

Incorporates a high-precision 80-tooth ratchet for a return angle of only 4.5°. The ratchet direction is indicated on both sides.
