Wera 8mm Joker open/box end ratchet spanner - Metric

With an open mouth on one end and a ratchet mouth on the other. Identical sizes on both ends.

- Open end.
The Joker has an angle-free 12-point beak, so it requires only 30° of working space; otherwise it works like a conventional open-end spanner. The dark metal plate acts as a retainer, preventing the nut from sliding off the spanner beak or holding it in place. At a further 30°, the metal plate lets the nut slide or grips it, as the plate is fitted with a hardened serrated edge. The teeth of this edge 'bite' into a rounded nut, loosening it where other spanners simply slip.

Includes a very fine 80-tooth ratchet with a return angle of only 4.5°. The ratchet direction is indicated on both sides.
