- Open end.
The Joker has a 12-point zero-angle head, so it requires only 30° of working space; otherwise it works like a conventional open-end spanner. The dark metal plate serves a dual purpose: it acts as a retainer, preventing the nut from sliding off the spanner head, or it holds the nut. At a further 30°, the metal plate allows the nut to slide off or grip it, as the plate is fitted with a hardened serrated edge. The teeth on this edge "bite" into rounded nuts, loosening them where others simply slip.
- Ratchet head.
Comes with an 80-tooth ratchet for a small 4.5° return angle. The ratchet direction is indicated on both sides.
