- Open end.
The Joker features a non-angled 12-point head, so it requires only 30° of working space; otherwise, it works as a conventional open-end wrench. The dark metal plate acts as a retainer, preventing the nut from sliding off the wrench head or holding it in place. At an additional 30°, the retaining metal plate allows the nut to slide off or grip it, as the metal plate is fitted with a hardened serrated edge. The teeth on this edge "bite" into a rounded nut, loosening it where others simply slip.
- Box end.
Comes with a very fine 80-tooth ratchet for a small 4.5° return angle. The ratchet direction is indicated on both sides.
