Wera double open-ended spanner 10/13 Joker

The Joker features a 12-point zero-angle head, so it needs only 30° of working space; otherwise it works like a conventional open-ended spanner. The dark metal plate serves a dual function: it acts as a retainer, preventing the nut from sliding off the spanner head, or it grips the nut. At 30°, the retaining metal plate allows the nut to slide or be gripped, as the plate is fitted with a hardened serrated edge. The teeth on this edge 'bite' into rounded nuts, loosening them where other spanners simply slip. Colour-coded by size.
