Brake pad

EBC WATER GROOVED brake shoes are manufactured with high-pressure aluminium backing plates for most motorcycles or pressed steel backing plates for most ATVs, with bonded brake linings. All shoes are ground and profiled for precise fitment to the brake drum and include entry and exit chamfers on the lining ends and original equipment style shoe springs.
The special multi-serration of the liners is designed to channel dirt, dust, water and debris away from the braking area to improve braking and increase the durability of the shoes and drums.
In previous years, mechanics used to 'saw' these slots in the linings, which we do not recommend, although NO EBC brake pad contains dangerous fibres.
ATTENTION – LEFT AND RIGHT BRAKES MUST ALWAYS BE REPLACED TOGETHER on four-wheeled ATVs to prevent the brakes from pulling the vehicle to one side, causing it to shift laterally and resulting in an accident.
