The Zeppelin e*spec tyre is a 27.5" rear tyre designed specifically for high-performance e-MTBs.
The demands of high-power e-bikes require a specific tread and casing design.
We designed the Zeppelin to offer high support volume, puncture resistance and greater contact surface to optimise technical climbing and improve braking. Furthermore, it reduces rolling resistance, increases durability and facilitates tubeless installation with reliable air retention at low pressure.
Available in 27.5", the Zeppelin 2.7" is the perfect option for mullet setups alongside Grappler or All Terrain tyres at the front.
The Zeppelin, with its large volume 27.5” x 2.7", offers the traction, smoothness, damping and support of a wide tyre, as well as the ability to use low pressures without a feeling of instability.
The Zeppelin uses e*thirteen's Endurance compound for 30% longer lifespan and exceptional durability, plus maximum rolling efficiency and lower battery consumption.
The e*spec Zeppelin TRAIL features a lighter single-layer nylon casing, with 72 TPI for support and puncture resistance, and a full nylon breaker in the tread and sidewalls for greater protection and tubeless performance.
Large angled central lugs with a blade-style arrangement offer excellent traction on high-torque climbs even on loose terrain.
The alternating arrangement of the central lugs improves load distribution on the footprint, extends service life and self-cleaning efficiency, and improves grip on slippery slabs and roots, maintaining traction on loose terrain. This configuration also provides a more predictable feel and consistent traction when transitioning from straight lines to aggressive corners.
The reinforced shoulder side blocks are designed to withstand the cornering forces of heavier e-bikes. They feature horizontal upper slots for maximum cornering grip and arched cuts with accordion-style fins to control deformation and grip on uneven terrain such as rock gardens and root sections.
