Andrews, Big Twin camshaft sprocket. Undersized (black)

Black, reduced diameter. Fitted by crimping onto the camshaft. Used to correct the clearance (play) between the cam sprocket (on the camshaft) and the drive sprocket (the smaller transmission sprocket). Excessive clearance will cause a clicking sound; insufficient clearance will cause a whining sound. To correct the clearance, you can use smaller or larger drive sprockets, or smaller or larger Andrews cam sprockets.

Note: To determine whether you need a 70-E77 or L77-84 model Shovel cam sprocket? Measure the outer diameter of the cam sprocket on the camshaft you are replacing. The 70-E77 cam sprocket will measure approx. 70mm. The L77-84 cam sprocket will measure approx. 69mm.
