Gear with keyway. Incl. bolt, key, washer and three spacers. This Andrews 503576 gear is an improved design over the OEM gear for the 1999 Twin Cam (no longer available from OEM). The 1999 OEM design is prone to Woodruff key breakage; when this happens, the camshafts and the entire valve train stop in the running engine. The Andrews gear and spacer are made from a material 4 times stronger than the OEM gear, with a one-piece design. This monobloc design allows the use of a full-length Woodruff key, 0.350" longer, which improves strength.
Note: Especially in high-performance applications, the Andrews 503576 gear is recommended for 1999 Twin Cam models.
