When building a bike or completely rewiring an existing motorcycle, a control box is a good option for a simple, solid and reliable wiring system. The lights dim when starting. Control boxes with handlebar wiring adapters simplify the wiring and make it almost invisible compared to other control boxes on the market. The housing is made of polycarbonate, sealed against water with epoxy resin. The maximum ambient temperature is 100 degrees Celsius and the maximum output is 5 Amp. per output and 3 Amp. for the horn. Compatible with miniature push-button control knobs that work with super-thin wiring. The control boxes can be easily fastened with cable ties to frame tubes or similar. All come complete with super clear installation instructions.
Note: Connecting the starter motor directly to the control box will cause damage. The H-D starter motor draws 10 Amp for the solenoid to shift and requires a small additional automotive relay between the control box's starter output and the starter motor solenoid.
Note: Added in 2025 is a grey cable. This is an output for the indicator LED in the speedometer. You can use this output if your speedometer has only one LED for both directions.
