Used to check that all indicator lights are working correctly whilst riding.
In the past, the flash rate of the indicator lights would increase when a bulb blew. Nowadays, with load-independent relays or load equalisers, the flash rate does not change when an indicator light fails. In traffic, an indicator light that is not working without the rider noticing is dangerous. This 'Flash Checker' is simply installed between the indicator relay and the indicator lights. When power consumption drops by 20% or more, the flash rate increases to warn you of a failing indicator light.
