BMC, air filter element

The Red Filter. Used in Formula 1, Le Mans, Moto GP and World Superbike. Designed as a straightforward, direct replacement to upgrade OEM paper air filters. Made with a metal mesh containing multiple layers of oiled cotton filtering material. This allows better airflow, suitable for applications from standard performance to maximum performance. To further help prevent small impurities from entering the engine, filter oil is used to create a 'sticky' barrier that allows airflow but traps particles as small as 7 microns. All filters are precision-made and continuously checked during production to guarantee the highest possible quality. The filters are washable and reusable. Made in the EU.
