When you feel you need a lot of hand effort to pull the clutch, the variable pressure clutch (VPC) is the ultimate solution. The VPC gives you reduced spring pressure at idle, but when revving the bob weights use centrifugal force to exert more pressure on the clutch than could be achieved with a high-performance clutch spring. It makes the clutch lever easier to work from idle up to 3,000 RPM, the area where most people need to pull the clutch to change gear.
Some features of the variable pressure clutch:
• Works with clutch basket stock, hub, friction plates and pressure plates.
 •Centrifugal force on the bob weights acts as a Lock Up clutch
 •Reduces clutch lever force required by up to 40% at idle on original engines
 • Improved clutch engagement on acceleration
 •Improved clutch disengagement and feel
 Easier to find neutral
 •Installation requires a ZPN 210080 clutch spring compressor (OEM 38515-90) and removal and reinstallation of the primary cover.
 •1990-1993 Touring & FXR may require removal of some material from the inside of the primary cover
 •Clutch pull becomes heavier as RPMs increase
•Fit a stronger diaphragm spring when your performance requirements increase
