White 1" wide exhaust wrap

Fibreglass exhaust wrap sold in 15 metre (50 foot) rolls, 1.5 mm thick. Withstands continuous temperatures of up to 1200 °F (649 °C) and spikes of up to 2000 °F (1093 °C). As exhaust gases cool, they lose velocity and the scavenging effect is reduced. This insulating wrap helps keep gas temperatures high, thereby optimising the thermal efficiency of the exhaust system, allowing you to extract maximum power from the engine. The wrap also protects against exhaust burns and prevents the bluish discolouration of the metal from showing.
Note: The ends of the wrap come secured with metal clamps. Sold separately.
Note: The material will discolour under the influence of heat after installation.
