Exhaust insulating wrap. 2" wide copper

Fibreglass exhaust wrap sold in 15 metre (50 foot) rolls, 1.5 mm thick. Withstands continuous temperatures of up to 1200 °F (649 °C) and spikes of up to 2000 °F (1093 °C). As exhaust gases cool, they lose velocity and the scavenging effect is reduced. This insulating wrap helps keep gas temperatures high, thereby optimising the thermal efficiency of the exhaust system, allowing you to make the most of the engine's power. The wrap also protects against exhaust burns and eliminates the characteristic blue discolouration.
Note: The wrap ends are secured with metal cable ties. Sold separately.
Note: Approximately 38" / 97 cm of exhaust wrap is required for a 30 cm pipe (1 3/4" pipe) and 44" / 112 cm (2" pipe). Based on a 2" wide wrap with approximately 1/4" overlap.
Note: The material will discolour under the influence of heat after installation.
