Exhaust wrap. 2" wide light brown

Fibreglass exhaust wrap sold in 50-foot (15-metre) rolls with 1.5 mm thick material. Withstands continuous temperatures of up to 1200 °F (649 °C) and peaks of up to 2000 °F (1093 °C). As exhaust gases cool, they lose velocity and the scavenging effect is reduced. This insulating wrap helps keep gas temperatures high, thus optimising the thermal efficiency of the exhaust system, making the most of the engine's power. The wrap also protects against exhaust burns and prevents the exhaust bluing from showing.
Note: The wrap ends are secured with metal cable ties. Sold separately.
Note: For 30 cm of exhaust pipe, approximately 38" / 97 cm (for 1 3/4" pipe) and 44" / 112 cm (for 2" pipe) of exhaust wrap is required. Based on a 2" wide wrap with an overlap of approximately 1/4".
Note: The material will discolour under the influence of heat after installation.
