Feuling air filter kit, BA. Black. Solid cover

Black anodised finish.
Black filter.
From the factory, this Feuling air filter is configured with OEM-style head breathing, channelling air to the intake with optimised vent hole locations to comply with emissions regulations. Exclusive race-only external venting to the atmosphere available with the separate purchase of Feuling external breather kit 707101, which includes 1/2-13 breather screw fittings, vent hose and filter element. Compatible with Mikuni HSR42/45 with adapter plate. Not compatible with Keihin butterfly or S&S carburettors. The back plate is engraved with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
Note: For 84-92 Evo B.T. models with the stock crankcase breather, the Feuling 5100 5/16-18 breather bolt kit must be purchased.
A great deal of testing and meticulous tuning has gone into the design of the BA (machined aluminium air filter), to create excellent performance (+500 to 595 CFM@28 on a SuperFlow SF600), all combined with the smallest possible dimensions. One-piece full machined aluminium cage, the included velocity nozzle is inserted, followed by the filter element, after which the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared to many others. The velocity nozzle is used to lengthen the intake tract and increase intake velocity to improve cylinder charging, especially in the mid-range, where most riding is done, and upwards. Includes a reusable, high-flow, cotton, red filter element, pre-oiled.
Note: The optional covers are available in natural polished, hard anodised black and chrome finishes, with a solid or transparent (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
