From the factory, this Feuling air cleaner is configured with OEM-style crankcase breathing, channelling into the intake with optimised vent hole locations to comply with emissions regulations. External 'Race Only' venting to the atmosphere available with the separate purchase of Feuling external breather kit 707101, which includes fittings, vent line and breather element. The backplate is engraved with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
A great deal of meticulous testing and tuning went into the design of the direct-mount BA (forged aluminium air filter), to create excellent performance (+500 to 595 CFM@28 on a SuperFlow SF600), all combined with the smallest possible dimensions. One-piece full forged aluminium cage; the included velocity dome is inserted, followed by the air filter element, after which the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared to many others. The velocity dome is used to lengthen the intake path and increase intake velocity to improve cylinder charging, especially mid-range performance, where most riding is done, and upward. Comes with a reusable high-flow, cotton-based, red, oiled air filter element.
Note: The optional covers are available in natural polished, hard anodised black and chrome finishes, with a solid or transparent (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
Originally designed for our 130" Bagger GP race engine, what is now our Race Series (RS) BA air filter, stands just one inch shorter and boasts an impressive 33% increase in filter size compared to our standard mount BA air filter. NOTE: Requires mid foot controls.
With years of experience designing cylinder heads, combustion chambers and improved intake manifolds, FEULING introduces a new direct-mount air filter design for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The Feuling BA Air Filter lengthens the intake runners and increases air velocity, delivering additional volume for balanced dynamic flow.
The BA air filter features a high-flow forged aluminium speed venturi with optimal opening diameter, outer lip and internal cone (ID). The BA Air Filter includes a reusable high-flow air filter and a one-piece forged cage. The one-piece design creates a clean look and makes installation easier compared to the industry standard multi-piece construction.
With performance in mind, we created a convertible backplate offering optional head venting. From the factory, the FEULING air cleaner is set up with OEM-style head breathing, channelling into the intake with optimised vent hole locations to comply with emissions regulations. External "Race Only" venting to the atmosphere available with the separate purchase of kit #5417, which includes fittings, vent line and breather element. The backplate is etched with the 'MADE IN USA' and 'FEULING' logos.
Impressive Horsepower and Torque gains on any engine and exceptional gains seen on engines with modified and/or ported heads alongside larger intakes and throttle bodies. Developed and designed on the flow bench, dyno tested and proven on the track.
