With short-travel lifter set. Feuling's Race series 'Short Travel' lifters feature a shorter travel (0.115"), maintaining a quiet engine. The reduced travel decreases the amount of pushrod immersion and oil needed to fill the inside of the lifter, which reduces oil aeration inside the lifter on high-lift, fast-acting cams.
The kit includes everything needed to refurbish the lower end of the engine. Oil pump, cam plate, tappet/tappet set and gasket set. Excellent upgrade and perfect foundation when installing a high-performance camshaft set.
Includes gasket set 566126, Race series short travel tappets 707364, Race series oil pump 707381 and red anodised cam plate 566079.
Oil is your engine's lifeblood!
The FEULING lubrication system kits combine all the components required to complete the TC engine's lubrication system under a single part number, available in HP+ or RACE SERIES kits. The FEULING lubrication system kits increase oil pressure, oil volume, engine oil flow and oil return, eliminating wet sumping and oily air filters. Test results show engine temperatures 25-35 degrees cooler, oil temperatures 15-30 degrees cooler, 15-30 pounds more oil pressure and quieter, smoother engine operation. The results also show a substantial increase in oil pressure and 3 H.P. and 4 Ft. Lbs. of T.Q at the rear wheel.
- Both the HP+ and RACE SERIES kits include the FEULING high-flow cam plate made from 7075 aluminium, which is 50% harder and stronger than factory, SE and other aftermarket cam plates. FEULING increases oil flow and volume by enlarging the oil pump reservoirs and critical oil passages, including matching the oil port holes throughout the cam plate with the port holes in the engine case, which increases engine oil flow to the lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft and connecting rod bearings.
- The RACE SERIES ST kits include a hard-anodised 7075 alloy oil pump, which is 50% harder and more durable than the factory pump, maintaining tighter tolerances under temperature. The FEULING RACE SERIES Short Travel (ST) hydraulic lifters are a revolutionary new design with 0.115" of total travel versus a full travel lifter with 0.200". These hydraulic lifters increase RPM by reducing valve float and valvetrain harmonics, whilst keeping the engine quiet. The reduced travel decreases the amount of oil needed to fill the inside of the lifter, which reduces oil aeration inside the lifter on high-lift, fast-acting cams.
The kits include a RACE SERIES oil pump, RACE SERIES Short Travel ST tappets, high flow cam plate, gaskets and O-rings.
