Designed for use with the original 99-06 spring mechanical tensioners; if you want to upgrade to hydraulic tensioners (recommended), see 938358, 707023, 707024.
This complete camchest kit includes all necessary components. Designed to work and operate in harmony, offering maximum reliability, optimum performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.
The kit includes: Feuling high volume oil pump, high flow camplate, pushrods and lifters. The included Reaper Series 594 camshafts additionally require high performance valve springs. Carburettor and/or throttle body work, performance exhaust, intake and clutch work is required/recommended.
Also includes short travel hydraulic roller tappets, Quick Install adjustable pushrods with .134 wall thickness, chrome pushrod tubes, Timken bearings, gaskets, O-rings, exhaust gaskets, ARP fasteners, washers, moly paste, Loctite and hardware.
The camchest kit delivers 25-35 degrees cooler engine temperatures, 15-30 degrees cooler oil temperatures, 15-30 lbs more oil pressure, quieter and smoother engine running, eliminates wet sumping, blow-by gasses and oily air filters.
594 CAMS - High-performance camshaft for a wide range of engine sizes, large-displacement 103, 110 and 124 engines seeking a superior torque band with excellent horsepower gains on heavy bikes (RPM 2,200 - 6,250). Mid-to-high displacement, high-revving 95 engines on lighter bikes looking to twist the throttle and exploit the power (RPM 2,500 - 6,800). Large displacements respond well to an increased compression ratio, and smaller displacements will require it. The 594 camshafts require high-performance valve springs, pushrods, tappets, carburettor and/or throttle body work, performance exhaust, intake and clutch.
Note:
1999 model engines using splined cams/sprockets will need to purchase the splined style cam sprocket, order 503575, separately. Earlier engines have keyway style sprockets.
