Chain drive.
594 CAMS - High-performance camshaft for a variety of engine sizes, large displacements of 103", 110" and 124" seeking a superior torque range with excellent horsepower gains on heavy motorcycles (RPM 2,200 - 6,250). Small displacement 95" style engines with high revs on lightweight motorcycles looking to accelerate and harness the power (RPM 2,500 - 6,800). Large displacements respond well to an increase in compression ratio and small displacements will require it. The 594 cams require high-performance valve springs, pushrods, lifters, carburettor and/or throttle body work, high-performance exhaust, intake and clutch.
Note:
1999 model year engines using slotted camshafts/sprockets will need to purchase the splined-style camshaft sprocket separately. See the 34-tooth camshaft-driven sprocket 503575.
