Sold as a kit of 2 bearings. Replaces the OEM style 8990/A ball bearing. This bearing is compatible with all models as front and rear outer cam bearings.
Note: MoCo redesigned the Twin Cam rear outer cam bearing from ball to roller style in 2001. This was done to prevent ball bearing failures, specifically in the rear (drive side) cams which carry more load. The 01-up style roller bearing is of a 3-piece design and is stronger than the earlier roller bearing. No other parts were changed during the bearing modification. The 99-00 style ball bearings fit all 99-06 models front and rear. Running front and rear ball bearings presents no issues on cam-driven gears.
