The hydraulics used are compatible with both hydraulic and solid type camshafts. An excellent hydraulic lifter replacement for stock and high performance applications. Manufactured to replace and outperform parts 17920-53A (hydraulic unit) and 18522-53A (lifter).
Note: Upgrading 66-84 Shovels to JIMS pushrods? Use the JIMS Powerglide upgrade kit MCS 978053.
JIMS Note: some H-D® 78-84 tappet blocks have oil drain hole location issues with some high lift cams.
