The FEULING RACE series lifters for M8 engines have a relief machined into the lower body to clear the front exhaust lobe flange of the camshaft on grinds with smaller than stock base circles. These FEULING RACE SERIES lifters are full-travel hydraulic, machined from a cold forged steel body and designed to exceed the demands of higher lift camshafts and higher valve spring pressures, with a slower bleed rate. RACE SERIES lifters maintain proper oil flow to the top end, increase engine RPM, valvetrain stability, decreasing valve float and promoting maximum valve lift.
Due to the unstable nature of this 4-valve engine design with 1 rocker activating 2 valve springs, Feuling strongly recommends the use of these lifters for M8 engines with higher-lift camshafts and valve spring seat pressures above stock. This lifter will help reduce valve train separation and can result in a quieter, better-performing engine. Race Series lifters are compatible with OE+, HP+, Race Series and factory oil pumps, and are designed for use in both street and track engines. Developed on the Spin-Tron dynamometer and track-tested. Made in the USA.
