JIMS, stator adapter for main bearing tool

Compatible with the JIMS 559404 main bearing tool.
This adapter is a simple solution that saves time and money when installing the pinion shaft bearing in the M8 left crankcase. Simply place this adapter over the bearing support on the press table. By using this adapter together with the JIMS 559404 main bearing tool or the OEM tool, the stator can remain fixed to the left crankcase during bearing installation. The technician saves the time needed to remove and refit the stator. The adapter has been designed with additional clearance for the stator screws, which are single-use. Furthermore, it ensures the stator crankcase plug seal is not compromised, preventing leaks. Saves time, screws, gaskets and avoids costly stator replacement. This adapter is made from 1144 steel, with black oxide coating for corrosion resistance.
