"Wide-Ass" swingarm kit for Softail 1986-1999

This kit allows the installation of a rear tyre up to 200 wide. If the pulleys are replaced by a chain sprocket and ring gear, even wider tyres can be fitted. Each kit includes everything needed to carry out the conversion for its corresponding application; we recommend you find out exactly what you need before ordering. Due to the width of the tyre to be fitted, it is not possible to keep either the mudguard supports or the mudguard itself, and wider designs must be used. On some occasions the mudguard mounting lugs on the chassis must be cut off and replaced with mudguard supports, ZPN 236499. On some models it is also necessary for the rectangular bar at the bottom to be lowered. Zodiac offers rear mudguards up to 11" wide, see the mudguard section of this catalogue. Each kit includes: offset swingarm, wheel adjustment assembly, wheel axle spacers, wheel axle, sprocket spacer, transmission offset plate, primary spacer, longer primary mounting bolts, crankshaft extension, long crankshaft nut and a primary gasket kit with extra O-ring. A special triangular-shaped side mounting plate eliminates the use of the 5th transmission bolt and allows the use of OEM and all aftermarket shock absorbers. All parts are available separately.
