Bike Black Prince Kit

Another stunning creation by "The Godfather", Zodiac's founding father, Ton Pels. The "Black Prince" kits contain almost any part you need to build your own Custom motorcycle. All components in this kit are sourced from leading industry manufacturers. Harrison Billet and PM brakes, Rick's wheels, Le Pera seat, and Wire Plus wiring. The kit comes standard with the famous S&S-style 111CI (1,806cc) V-twin engine. For those who already have a complete Softail Evolution drivetrain, we also offer a rolling chassis kit, which includes a RightSideDrive conversion kit for 1994-1999 Softail transmissions. The frame is an approved Fat-Tube Right Side Drive model, paired with a matching swingarm designed to accommodate an Avon 300/35-R18 rear tyre on a Rick's 10.5x18 wheel. Using a Right Side Drive transmission keeps the rear wheel perfectly centred within the frame without the need to offset the primary drive. The swingarm is wide enough to support an Avon 330 rear tyre when used with a corresponding RSD transmission. This was the option chosen by Zodiac for the bike shown in the image. Primary drive is achieved via an impressive 3" open belt drive. Final drive is performed via a belt on the right-hand side of the motorcycle. The front suspension is Zodiac-approved Fat Bubba, measuring 32" in length, installed on a triple tree assembly with a 3-degree rake angle. Combined with the frame's 38-degree headstock angle and a 130/60x18 front tyre, this creates a motorcycle with excellent handling. Anyone who has ridden it has been surprised by how easy such a wide-rear-tyre bike is to handle and how stable it remains on long, high-speed straights. The "Black Prince" shown in the image is equipped with a prototype handlebar featuring an integrated speedometer and a custom two-piece rear mudguard. The kit bike comes with raw steel mudguard strut sides and base, along with a raw steel rear mudguard.
