Two inches of ride height adjustment, from standard to 2" lower, and adjustable preload.
High-pressure gas system in a twin shock absorber system with coil spring.
The shock absorbers include a new filler valve to replace the original one.
Also available in the RAP (Remote Adjustable Preload) series, which offers the added convenience of a Remote Adjustable Preload, located behind the passenger's left footpeg, for more accessible adjustments.
What are Progressive Suspension 'Heavy Duty' shocks?
If you are a light rider with a light passenger, the STD Duty series is probably your best choice; Heavy Duty shock absorbers will provide a firmer ride. For large riders with a lot of luggage, Heavy Duty springs are the best choice. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
The use of Heavy Duty shock absorbers or springs is recommended on motorcycles operating at or near the manufacturer's maximum load for more than 50% of the time.
