RAM Mounts - How does it work? A 3-piece system: 1 the mounting base, 2 the connecting arm, 3 the device holder.
- 1 The mount base - Equipped with RAM's 1" diameter hard elastomer rubber ball. An easy-to-adjust, non-slip, vibration-absorbing connection. Various mounting base options available.
- 2 Articulated arm / connecting arm - A connecting arm with sockets that grip the rubber balls of the mounting base and phone holder, effectively connecting both parts whilst offering virtually infinite adjustments without tools.
- 3 Phone holder / X-Grip - An innovative system with spring and rubber caps on the 'fingers' that will hold your phone. The X-Grip phone holder is equipped with RAM's elastomeric hard rubber socket ball for a non-slip, vibration-damping mount to the articulated arm.
