S&S, Softail flywheel assembly 07-15 4-3/8" stroke. For OEM

Compatible with OEM. Stock 96", 103", 110" stroke is 4-3/8". These S&S rods have a roller bearing bushing with pressed-in chain sprocket (not Timken®) for use with the stock 24004-03B chain sprocket bearing, a weaker but OEM-compatible solution. Complete with tapered crankpin pin ends compatible with stock H-D pistons. Balanced to 1035 grams total piston weight, which is compatible with OEM.
Note: Engines with strokes over 4" may require S&S piston oil jets and clearance notches between piston and jet in the piston skirt to avoid contact.
Note: S&S crankpin kits allow the use of replaceable bearing bushings at the small end of the connecting rods. The first generation of S&S crankpins, in use up to 2012, had a 1.500" diameter. The second generation of crankpins, in use since 2013, has the larger OEM 1.671" crankpin diameter. S&S and OEM crankpins are now identical in diameter, so S&S parts can now be used to rebuild stock H-D flywheels, something that was previously not possible as H-D rebuild parts were not, and are not, available.
Note: In all applications, the technician must be able to assess the components to determine their suitability in combination with the other engine components, prior to installation. It is important that a skilled mechanic carries out the installation and any necessary adjustments.
