Aluminium cylinders painted with a wrinkle black finish. Compatible with stock 88" models with stock 4" stroke. Larger displacement usually means better performance. This bolt-on Sidewinder big bore kit offers the greatest capacity possible without requiring additional work. No need to remove the engine, split or machine the crankcases, or even rebalance the flywheels. Simply replace the stock cylinders and pistons with these 4" big bore S&S parts and you're set to reach 100 HP. (note).
Note: S&S measured a power increase from 72.95 to 100.30 HP for a stock 88" model. In addition, they used S&S 585 cams, Power Tune headers, slip-on mufflers, the stock EFI throttle body and an S&S Stealth air cleaner.
Note: Not compatible with 79cc S&S heads.
