S&S, conversion piston kit 883-1200. +.010"

Converts a stock 883cc or 1100cc Sportster to 1200cc. Provides a 9.5:1 compression ratio with stock cylinder heads. Requires boring of the stock cylinders to the stock 1200 3-1/2" bore (see note). No other modifications required. Compatible with stock 883 heads and cylinders; the stock crankcases require no machining. The kit includes forged pistons, rings, wrist pin keepers and seals.
Note: For 04-22 883 XL models, 1200cc cylinders must be purchased. The stock cylinder liners of 04-22 XL models are too thin to be bored out to 1200 size.
Note: In all applications, the technician must be able to assess the suitability of the components in combination with the other engine components before installation. It is important that a qualified mechanic installs and carries out the necessary adjustments. The rider must follow standard running-in and riding procedures for rebuilt engines.
