With S&S cylinder bolt pattern. Replacement crankcases for Twin Cam engines in Touring and Dyna models. They offer greater overall strength than OEM cases, especially at the front engine mount, an important factor in high-performance applications. CNC machined from high-strength heat-treated aluminium castings, these S&S cases are far more cost-effective than fully billet-machined cases. A Timken® style sprocket shaft bearing is used to better withstand the most demanding applications. All oil passages between the crankcase and the gearbox cover are sealed with O-rings. Includes needle bearings for the camshaft and pinion shaft, plus a Timken sprocket bearing. The large camshaft chamber allows cam lifts of up to 0.675" without clearancing. Clearanced for strokes up to 5". The cases are compatible with stock components such as the oil pump, camshaft support plate, gearbox cover, etc. The cases include fasteners and installation instructions.
Note: Includes camshafts, camshaft bearings and pinion shaft bearings.
Note: Installing the T124 engine in a 99-05 Dyna chassis requires an oil line installation kit that is no longer available. This kit included a special transmission top cover and oil lines. Custom fabrication is required.
Note: Installation of the T124 engine in a 99-06 Touring chassis requires oil line installation kit 902299. The stock transmission cover can be reused.
Note: The crankcases for the Softail engine, with internal balancers, are not available.
Note: In all applications, the technician must be able to assess the suitability of the components in combination with the other engine components before installation. It is important that a qualified mechanic carries out the installation and any necessary adjustments.
