With S&S cylinder bolt pattern. Replacement crankcases for Twin Cam Touring and Dyna engines. They offer greater overall strength than OEM cases, especially in the front engine mount, an important factor in high-performance applications. CNC machined from high-strength aluminium castings and heat treated, these S&S cases are far more cost-effective than billet-machined cases. A Timken® style pinion bearing is used to better withstand the most demanding applications. All oil passages between the crankcase and the cam cover are sealed with O-rings. Includes roller bearings for the camshaft and pinion shaft, as well as a Timken pinion bearing. The large camshaft chamber allows cam lifts of up to .675" without clearancing. Clearanced for strokes up to 5". The cases are compatible with stock components such as the oil pump, camshaft support plate, cam cover, etc. The cases include hardware and installation instructions.
Note: Includes camshafts, sprocket shaft bearing and sprocket bearing.
Note: Installing the T124 engine in a 99-05 Dyna chassis requires an oil line installation kit that is no longer available. This kit included a special transmission top cover and oil lines. Custom fabrication is required.
Note: Installing the T124 engine in a 99-06 Touring chassis requires the 902299 oil line installation kit. The stock transmission cover can be reused.
Note: The crankcases for the Softail engine, with internal balancers, are not available.
Note: In all applications, the technician must be able to assess the components to determine their suitability in combination with the other engine components prior to installation. It is important that a qualified mechanic installs them and makes the necessary adjustments.
