S&S, complete cam cover kit with gear drive and 585GE cams

Gear-driven, easy-start 585G (.585" lift) direct-fit crankcases. If you are looking for a high-performance gear-driven crankcase set, consider upgrading all other crankcase components as well, as they are open to improvement. This S&S kit includes a stock or easy-start crankcase set, a close-tolerance replacement oil pump, crankshaft support plate, high-performance hydraulic tappets and chrome-molybdenum adjustable push rods that can be installed without removing the top end. The results? Higher, consistent oil pressure and 99-06 models are upgraded to the 07-17 style oil pump. All crankcases are gear-driven and provide optimised cam timing, greater lift for better performance, increased reliability and reduced oil pump wear. All sets include direct-fit crankcases for easy installation.
