Super 6-speed overdrive transmission kit

Designed to convert 5-speed gearboxes into 6-speed gearboxes.
Reduces wear-inducing vibrations
Provides a more relaxing cruising speed
All kits are fitted with a short-ratio first gear (2.94:1) that extends the first gear speed range and reduces rev drop when changing into second
6th gear (86:1 overdrive) reduces engine revs by nearly 475 at 75 mph
Includes seals and retainers
Made in the U.S.A.
Requires the speedometer sensor shutter plate kit (ART. NO. 2404-0114; see ELECTRICAL section); if the speedometer is not driven by the gearbox, two shutter plate kits will be required.
The axle mounting plate extends 3/8" further to the right than the standard unit. Some parts fixed to or adjacent to the mounting plate may require modification.
Requires speedometer recalibration.
