PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) technology is technically high-flow catalytic converters with chambers. They are used to increase mid-range torque for more responsive acceleration from a standstill. They are positioned downstream to reduce heat at the footboards / foot pegs by up to 20% and at the header by up to 50%, optimising rider comfort compared to the stock system.
PCX™ technology uses a high-flow dual-matrix catalyst that improves torque delivery through the mid-range for more responsive acceleration. All while producing a deeper, full-throated roar, without compromising the styling of any Vance & Hines exhaust system.

The FuelPak FPX tuner (part number 724851) allows you to deactivate the second downstream O2 sensor in the muffler, or in the balance pipe of the crossover section, without triggering fault codes. This will allow you to use earlier model/US mufflers that are not equipped with an O2 sensor connection.
