Vented dipstick - Oil tank breather FL black

Machined dipstick tubes vent excess crankcase pressure via a PCV-type breather with an oil separator system, perforated disc, replaceable filter, and non-return valve.
Includes two ventilation options for installing the rod: option 1 - 1/8 NPT vent fitting with internal porous filter, option 2 - quick coupling with rubber hose and filter element.
This dipstick allows the oil level to be read in two ways: with the motorcycle on the side stand (FHS) or in a vertical and level position (FHU).
The oil pickup is on the right-hand side of the engine. Leaving the motorcycle idling or warming it up on the side stand fills the sump and alters the oil level in the tank.
Fuel test results show lower oil level in the sump, freer and smoother engine, higher MPG and reduced blowby
Blowby is the pressure that leaks past the rings and cylinders, passes into the sump and then into the oil tank.
It is important to obtain the correct hot oil level on your motorcycle. Feuling recommends maintaining the level between 90% and 99% when hot.
