Vented dipstick - black gauge ST18

Billet measuring rods vent excess crankcase pressure from the oil tank via a PCV-type breather, with oil separator system, perforated disc, replaceable filter and non-return valve.
Screws into the original oil filler hole as an OEM replacement.
Blowby is the pressure that passes through the rings and cylinders, enters the sump and is then directed to the oil tank.
Fuel test results show a reduction in sump oil level, a freer and smoother engine, higher MPG and reduced blowby.

Includes 2 ventilation options for the rod: option 1 - 1/8 NPT breather fitting with internal filter, option 2 - quick coupling with rubber hose and filter.
It is important to obtain the correct hot oil level on your motorcycle. Feuling recommends maintaining the level between 90% and 99% when hot.
The oil pickup port is on the right-hand side of the engine. Leaving the bike idling or warming it up on the side stand will fill the sump and alter the oil level in the tank.

This rod heats up; use gloves when checking the oil level.
Feuling strongly recommends avoiding the rev limiter and using conventional oil in M8 engines to maintain ring sealing and minimise blowby.
