9.5:1 compression ratio. Converts your XL883 or XL1100 Sportster, reusing the original cylinders, from XL 86-03 models to 1200cc. Includes forged flat-top pistons, rings, wrist pins and keepers. Fits without modifications to the cylinder head. Piston weight is approximately the same as the original, no rebalancing required. Compression of approximately 9.5:1. Tests have shown a 26% increase in power on 883 models.
Note: For XL models 04 onwards, 1200cc cylinders must be used. The original 883 cylinders from 04 onwards have sleeves that are too thin to be bored out to 1200 specification.
